Nic Roex

Designer Nic Roex is playing with the field of tension between recognition and abstraction. PIXEL light takes viewers through an optical challenge that plays with recognizing of the silhouette of the spherical lamp. The PIXEL collection consists of different sizes. PIXEL light is produced using a 3D production technique. No molds are needed for the bulbs; we print the different parts in our own workshop with 3D printers. The lamp is printed with PLA, biodegradable plastic made from corn starch.
